"Kadoom" Kingthong have reached a verbal agreement with
Sharper Esport for the upcoming 2026
VALORANT season. PTC comes off a contested 2025 campaign under NAOS Esports’ banner, where he competed on the Challengers Southeast Asia circuit, following an initial and notable stint with
FULL SENSE on the Thai scene.
For their part, seph1roth, Apinya, and Laz spent most of 2025 with FULL SENSE, posting a résumé highlighted by a title at Challengers 2025: Southeast Asia Split 1, secured in the grand final. As for Kadoom, he split his season between Sharper Esport and other projects across Southeast Asia: he notably played the VALORANT Thailand Series: Kickoff 2025, as well as Challengers 2025: Southeast Asia Splits 2 and 3 with Sharper. By bringing together five profiles already acclimated to SEA leagues, Sharper Esport would be betting on a core that is both cohesive and steeped in regional experience.
In parallel, the organization has also secured its coaching staff, with Leaf "Leaf" Thammarongseri and Piyangoon "MYM" Kitisin as coaches, and Narongrit "Pooh1Tap" Sae-hun as assistant coach. Leaf is coming off a 2025 season as FULL SENSE’s head coach, notably leading the team to victory in Split 1, while MYM joined shortly thereafter as an assistant coach within the same organisation. On his side, Pooh1Tap is already familiar with Sharper: he held a coaching position within the structure early in 2025 before stepping away in the spring, and has recently been linked to the organisation again in a similar capacity. The trio would therefore form a staff built around figures well-versed in the Thai scene and the Challengers circuit.
A solid season for Sharper Esport
In 2025, Sharper Esport gradually established themselves as a recurrent presence near the top of the Southeast Asian hierarchy. The organisation notably finished second at the
VALORANT Thailand Series: Kickoff 2025, then followed up with consistent appearances in Challengers 2025: Southeast Asia, winning the Split 2 promotion tournament before reaching the playoffs and placing fourth, and ending Split 3 in the 5th/6th place.
Against that backdrop, Sharper would be looking to convert its status as a steady outsider into a genuine contender for the top positions in the Southeast Asia circuit. By combining a backbone drawn from FULL SENSE’s Split 1 championship run with a veteran like PTC, already accustomed to the region’s various formats, the Thai organisation would be laying the foundations for a project designed to take a step forward in 2026, with an experienced, cohesive five already familiar with the competitive demands of the SEA scene.
