Continuing to climb the ranks of the South Korean circuit is exactly what Cho "
OddEye" Hyung-jin is doing, as he is joining
OKSavingsBank BRION Challengers in LCK CL after four years in LCK AS between Nongshim RedForce Academy and T1 Rookies.
At almost 21 years old, the AD Carry also drew interest from a European team, Los Heretics in the SuperLiga, the academy roster of the Spanish organization. As
previously reported by Sheep Esports, they eventually went for another Korean ADC from the academy circuit, Shin "
Lure" Jae-yoon, who previously played for Hanwha Life Esports in the LCK CL. This will not be the first time OddEye plays in CL, as he already made a few appearances with NS CL Academy in 2024, but nothing over the long term.
Alongside OddEye have been announced all the other members of their academy roster. Coach Jo "
Cheoni" Seung-mo, who is only 24, is joining LCK CL for the first time after a year in Hanwha Life Esports’ academy. Hong "
PlanB" Jun-seok has been promoted to the support role from the AS roster, while toplaner An "
DDahyuk" Min-hyuk is also being retained.
OddEye is starting to build a long career in LCK academies. From his first appearances in 2021, he joined NS the following year, where he played alongside players like Baek "Mihile" Sang-hwi and Syun "Calix" Hyun-bin. His 2025 season was by far his best with T1: finalist at the first Championship and winner of the second, it is a well‑deserved promotion for OddEye.
