. A cornerstone of his team this Monday against Shifters, Movistar KOIâs midlaner
has been named our Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the week.
Toplaner: Naak Nako
Naak Nako returns to the Team of the Week following another highly accomplished week for Team Vitality, who defeated SK Gaming and Fnatic. Tested over the course of the week, much like their Turkish toplaner, Vitality required three games to secure both series. It was in the decisive third games that Naak Nako proved most impactful, delivering performances that secured victory for his team. He was overwhelmingly dominant in the laning phase, leaving neither
nor
able to contend with him.
Jungler: Sheo
Back with his former organization (previously known as Team BDS), Sheo wasted no time in reigniting hope among the teamâs supporters. The French jungler began with a measure of revenge against Team Heretics, who had benched him just weeks earlier, before falling to Movistar KOI on Monday. Despite the defeat, he helped his team display a renewed identity and address several of the issues that had persisted throughout the Spring Split.
Midlaner: Jojopyun (MVP)
Another solid week of competition for Jojopyun. The Canadian midlaner secured a crucial victory for Movistar KOI, ensuring their qualification for the playoffs ahead of the final week. Remaining consistent with his recent form, he was particularly strong in the laning phase while continuing to provide significant impact in teamfights, enabling the Spanish side to secure a hard-fought win after dropping the first game against Shifters. He will face stronger opposition next week during the LEC Roadtrip hosted by his team in Madrid.
AD Carry: Upset
Despite Fnaticâs elimination from the competition, Upset did everything within his power throughout the week to keep his teamâs hopes alive. The German AD Carry delivered a solid performance in the opening match against Team Heretics and then, in what was expected to be a difficult series against Team Vitality, produced an almost flawless first game, recording 15 kills and two quadrakills. Despite his efforts, the remainder of the series proved more challenging for his team, and he was ultimately unable to turn the tide in Fnaticâs favor.
Support: Alvaro
In a week where no support truly stood out, Alvaro delivered what was required against Shifters. Despite the loss in the opening game of the series, the Spanish player produced a solid performance on Renata, notably through well-timed ultimates. After a convincing showing on AsheâSeraphine, Alvaro assumed greater responsibility on Rakan to guide his team to another victory.
