According to sources close to
Sheep Esports,
Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard has signed with HEROIC after the Danish team paid a buyout to OG. He will join after the CCT Season 3 European Series #11, instead of Linus "
LNZ" Holtäng*. Considered one of the rising talents as an In-Game Leader, Chr1zN is stepping into one of the country's top
Counter-Strike 2 organizations. These roster moves come as the team missed out on qualifying for the
StarLadder Major Bucharest.
The Danish player developed his skills within MOUZ NXT, the academy squad of mousesports, before making the jump to OG Esports in August 2024. He spent a year with the European organization, marked by mixed results—a year highlighted by his first Major appearance last April in Austin. Outside of that event, OG only secured a few notable finishes, such as 1st place at CCT Season 2 European Series #20 and DraculaN #2. OG ultimately decided to bench both him and Nico "
nicoodoz" Tamjidi on October 30.
With Chr1zN joining, HEROIC returns to its Danish roots, nearly a year after letting go of Rasmus "sjuush" Beck and René "TeSeS" Madsen. The team, now majority Swedish, had started a downward trend. After qualifying for the BLAST Austin Major, HEROIC claimed the CCT Season 2 Global Finals and MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 titles, but hasn't won anything since. With their top 17-19 finish at the Major, the Nordic club followed up with disappointing results, ultimately missing the cut for Bucharest.
*At first, our report stated that Chr1zN would replace Gleb "gr1ks" Gazin, but it's actually LNZ who is being benched.
