Team Heretics would have found the final piece of its project, sources tell
Sheep Esports, after reaching a verbal agreement with Ryad "
Jamelinho213" Bentot. The young French Duelist should therefore play at the highest level of
VALORANT in 2027, even though the Spanish organization is not yet guaranteed to be a partner for the next 2027-2028 cycle. He was reportedly chosen by TH over Mert "
Wo0t" Alkan, who will therefore leave the club after three years.
For next season, Enes "RieNs" Ecirli and Benjy "benjyfishy" Fish have re-signed, as Sheep Esports revealed several months ago, while three new players are expected to join. As our journalists also recently reported, Emirhan "hiro" Kat should arrive from Natus Vincere, alongside Caide "chloric" Heaton, who is expected to take over the In-Game Leader role, and Jamelinho213 as the final addition.
A real newcomer
Having truly entered competitive play in 2025, the latter has progressed at a rapid pace. During the 2025 OFF//SEASON competitions, Jamelinho played with several organizations, including UCAM, CGN Esports at Masters Reloaded, and Joblife at Project Blender. With the German organization, the French player had the opportunity to face and beat Gentle Mates before falling in the grand final to FUT Esports. After competing with JL at Project Blender, he also participated with BRATAN MIX, where they secured a spot in the fourth stage, the playoffs, before losing in the round of 16 to Team Vitality.
He eventually joined Eintracht Frankfurt for the 2026 season in VCL DACH, which brings together Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. With the German organization, the French Duelist consistently finished near the top of his league, including a Top 2 finish in Stage 1 and a Top 3-4 finish in Stage 2, which forced SGE to go through the Last Chance Qualifier for a chance to qualify for the
VCT EMEA Stage 2 Play-In.
Alongside his teammates, they first had to get through the first stage, a Play-In featuring 36 other Tier 2 teams, to ultimately reach the main tournament. In this LCQ, where only one spot was available, Eintracht Frankfurt first dominated its group stage before completely sweeping through the playoffs. After defeating FOKUS 2-0,
Jamelinho and his teammates followed it up with another 2-0 victory over Mandatory before beating Turkish mix Çilekler 3-0 in the grand final, securing their qualification for Berlin.
After initially losing to GIANTX in the opening round of the VCT EMEA Play-In, SGE bounced back in the lower bracket, defeating Gentle Mates, Team Heretics, and Eternal Fire, all by 2-0 scores, to qualify for the playoffs. Starting directly in the lower bracket in that final stage, SGE did not last long against Team Liquid, losing 2-1 and being eliminated in 7th-8th place, marking Jamelinho's first real Tier 1 experience.
