Riot Games reveals Agent 31 Hush as VALORANT’s new Duelist

Riot Games has revealed VALORANT Agent 31, Hush, the newest Duelist joining the roster. The publisher gave us the first official look at her through a cinematic trailer following the Opening Ceremony of the Champions Shanghai Grand Final.

Bringing her “own distinct style and personality” to the game, Hush has long white hair with pink and purple undertones and glowing pink eyes. She wears a black outfit, with glowing pink geometric shards floating around her.

With her addition into the game, the agent pool will expand to 30, with nine of them being Duelists. Meanwhile, Agent 8 remains non-existent, even in VALORANT lore.

Riot first teased Hush during the patch 13.06 dev update, giving players a glimpse of her standing in an alley, with the latest tease coming through one of the Season 2026 Act 6 Battle Pass playercards, Anomalous.

Her abilities will be announced in the coming days; however, based on the cinematic trailer and leaks, her passive ability is expected to change depending on whether she is on the Attacking or Defending side.

Her first basic ability, Range Trigger, will release a thin curtain of mist that nearsights agents passing through it. The second basic ability, Secondary Projection, will allow Hush to copy an ally’s signature ability and use it later in the round.

The Duelist’s signature ability, Charged Roll, will let her dash towards a compatible wall, pass through it and emerge on the other side while rolling in the same direction. Similar to her basic abilities, Hush is also rumoured to have two Ultimates, Ground Rules and Starburst, linked to Alpha Earth and Omega Earth, respectively.

Ground Rules will create a gravitational field that repels and slows enemies within the target area. Starburst, on the other hand, will create an anti-gravitational field that lifts enemies into the air before dealing damage to them with an explosion.

The icons for Hush’s abilities have also been leaked; however, Riot Games is yet to unveil all of this information officially.

Hush will be available globally in VALORANT on October 27 and players will be able to unlock her by earning XP during her recruitment event. Alternatively, she can be equipped by linking an active Xbox Game Pass account to a Riot Games account, spending 10,000 Kingdom Credits, or purchasing her for 1,000 VP.
