Wunderman Thompson is a global communication and marketing agency based in New York and a member of the WPP Group (a collection of advertising and communication agencies listed on the London Stock Exchange).
Specializing in creation, consulting, and technological development, Wunderman's expertise in the gaming entertainment sector is well-established. An example was their activation with the '
Actimel Immunity Station' in Fortnite in 2023, which allowed Epic Games to feature the Danone group's brand in its creative game mode.
As part of the expansion of their gaming offerings, Wunderman Thompson was seeking an esports partner to complement their broader gaming portfolio and provide brands with a new response to the opportunities presented by esports. What better choice than a partnership with the prestigious Karmine Corp, which, after
gathering 28,000 fans at La Défense Arena last September,
recently announced its entry into the highest franchised division of League of Legends, the LEC.
How the process works ?
The partnership ultimately aims at executing marketing and communication operations. The engagement of the community and the audience volume of the French club will enable 'attractive and engaging' activations aligned with the club's competitive calendar.
A word from Virgile Brodziak, General Manager of Wunderman France:
"Partnering with K-Corp means partnering with a team of bold and ambitious personalities that form an esports club now of international renown."
Believing in the potential of combining esports, influence, and events, a promising collaborative future unfolds between brands and a club like KCORP. Wunderman Thompson's expertise stands alongside partners to create business opportunities.
To conclude, a comment from Karmine Corp's CEO, Arthur Perticoz:
"We are delighted and proud to partner with such a prestigious agency as Wunderman Thompson, advising the world's leading brands in their communication strategy. Karmine Corp aims to offer engaging and impactful brand experiences. Thanks to this partnership, we can create a strong and lasting connection between brands and gaming audiences."
