C0M joins FURIA to replace Eeiu for the remainder of VCT Americas Stage 2

FURIA is set to make a roster change ahead of the second week of VCT Americas Stage 2. As announced by the team on Sunday, World Champion Corbin "C0M" Lee is set to replace Daniel "Eeiu" Vucenovic in the starting lineup. The change comes just a couple of days after FURIA's 1-2 loss to LEVIATÁN in the opening match of its Stage 2 campaign.

For his part, C0M rejoined Evil Geniuses in November 2025 but had a start to the season that was a far cry from his brilliant 2023 campaign with the team, as EG failed to secure a single victory during Stage 1. Subsequently, he was benched in favor of academy players Jake "Paincakes" Hass and Javan "zerona" Varela.

At the beginning of July, C0M posted a message on X stating that he was looking for a new opportunity. “I can IGL and secondary IGL if needed and willing to swap roles as I believe in my abilities to be an asset on anything. Super motivated to get back in the server and win another championship at the highest level. I will be fighting my ass off to get back to that point,” the player wrote. While C0M had indicated that he was open to opportunities in any region, he will ultimately remain in the one where he has competed throughout his entire career.

Eeiu had represented FURIA since December 2025 and was part of the roster that won VCT Americas Kickoff 2026, earning the organization a spot at Masters Santiago, where it finished in 7th-8th place. However, FURIA struggled to replicate that success during Stage 1 and the Esports World Cup Qualifier tournament, prompting another change to the lineup. FURIA will play their next Stage 2 match on July 24 against NRG.
