Phoenix's ultimate points increased from six to seven points

A handful of changes are coming to VALORANT with Patch 13.02. Agent adjustments remain limited, with Phoenix being the only character to receive a balance change. His ultimate ability, Run It Back, has been nerfed after Riot Games increased its ultimate cost from six to seven points. The change comes just days after Team Vitality's Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev managed to use the ability six times in a single half against PCIFIC Esports in VCT EMEA.
Beyond the agent adjustment, Riot Games is expanding the Retakes game mode with three additional maps. Roughly a month after the mode's release, Split, Corrode and Lotus will all be added to its map pool. Meanwhile, the All Random One Site: Replication mode, which had originally been scheduled for this patch, has been postponed to a later date that has yet to be announced.

AGENTS UPDATES
Phoenix
- Overall we are happy with the state of Phoenix's balance. This is a small touch to address the frequency with which he is able to cast his ultimate to be more in line with other characters.
- Ultimate points increased from 6 to 7.
MODES UPDATES
RETAKE
- Split, Corrode, and Lotus are being added to the map pool for RETAKE.
AROS: Replication
- All Random One Site: Replication will no longer be released in this update. We don’t take these decisions lightly as we know a lot of you were looking forward to this mode. We are still targeting a future release date and will let you know when we have more to share.
