Ninjas in Pyjamas are expected to sign Cristian "crr" Raigal and Gaspar "stizzy" Andres ahead of the Rocket League Club Championship. The organization is one of 20 invited to the partnership program and will be fielding a roster at the London Kick-Off Weekend this December. NIP look set to retain the services of crr for another season after earning a third-place finish under the organization at the Esports World Cup alongside Ole "oaly." Doorn and Joris "Joreuz" Robben before appearing at the RLCS World Championship. Stizzy, whose contract with Team Vitality ended this offseason, has been assessing his options on the market but quickly formed a partnership with his compatriot. The Spanish duo have never played in the RLCS together but are widely considered the best players from Spain and were expected to represent their country at the Esports Nations Cup before its postponement.
European market havoc
As reported by MajorRLCS, Joreuz was initially expected to team up with the duo but plans have changed in recent days and the chances we see that roster in the future are now slim. A number of players are now being considered, including young-guns like Attila "bibbaba" Eötvös, Simão "prozy" Santos and the French 1v1 specialist, Reyyn. While plenty of senior professionals remain as options, many have already been tied down to certain squads, including Charles "juicy" Sabiani and Enzo "Seikoo" Grondein, who are expected to join Geekay Esports.
Jos "ViolentPanda" Meurs, who spent last season as head coach of the Shopify Rebellion roster in North America, is currently in advanced talks to join NIP. While no deal has been finalized yet, the Dutch coach was released by Shopify Rebellion on October 14 and has been looking for new opportunities this offseason. ViolentPanda formerly worked with Stizzy during their time on Dignitas together across RLCS 2024 and 2025, where they peaked with an impressive second-place finish at the Raleigh Major.
NIP signed crr, Oaly, Joreuz and head coach Lachlan "LBP" Parker in November 2025 ahead of the new season. During RLCS 2026, the trio established themselves as a quietly consistent roster in Europe, who often achieved high placements in regional events. The team qualified for all five international LAN events during the season and while they struggled to truly contend for titles internationally, a third-place finish at the EWC topped off a solid season. NIP parted ways with the team following the conclusion of the 2026 World Championship, where they had been knocked out in 13th-16th place after a weak group stage performance. After being renewed for the RLCS partnership program, the organization has been looking at the chaotic European market, competing with other organizations like Geekay Esports, AG.AL, and Man City Esports for the current crop of rosters forming following the bidding war for Tristan "Atow." Soyez, Axel "Vatira" Touret, and Alexis "zen" Bernier.
As a result, NIP are now expected to secure the signings of crr and Stizzy, locking the duo in position even before they have finalized a full roster. The Spanish duo bring experience and potential. Crr has competed in multiple regions on top RLCS teams for over four years, while Stizzy is slowly becoming a proven quantity as a star player in Europe, having had a strong year for Team Vitality despite a 9th-12th place exit at the World Championship. Spain, which has become one of the premium Rocket League nations in the Open era, has often struggled to produce players that can work well together. This partnership brings together two first-rate professionals from the region at the peak of their careers, something that Spanish fans have rarely experienced in the RLCS.
