The offseason will be a short one for
. According to sources close to
Sheep Esports, the Korean team has already secured its roster for next year. The organisation has re-signed all five players who made up its lineup this season. The roster for the upcoming season is therefore expected to be as follows:
- Toplaner: Shin "Casting" Min-je
- Jungler: Kim "GIDEON" Min-seong
- Midlaner: Cho "Roamer" Woo-jin
- AD Carry: Park "Teddy" Jin-seong
- Support: Namgung "Namgung" Seong-hoon
All five players were set to become free agents at the end of the 2026 season, with their contracts listed as expiring this year
in the Global Contract Database. Following discussions and negotiations, all five have agreed to re-sign with the organisation for at least one more year. Having joined the team towards the end of last year, the roster will now remain together for a second consecutive season.
A Similar Strategy to BNK FEARX 2025?
Operating with one of the LCK’s lowest budgets, BRO have often been viewed as one of the league’s weakest organisations in recent years. As a result, their performance this season surprised many, particularly those who expected them to finish at the bottom of the standings. Their LCK Cup campaign, in which they failed to win a single series, had offered little indication that this year would be any different.
Nevertheless, the team proved far more competitive during the LCK season than its early results had suggested. BRO finished sixth after Rounds 1–2, putting themselves in contention, and subsequently secured a place in the Play-In Stage during the second half of the season. However, after two defeats in five games against KT Rolster and BNK FEARX, respectively, the team fell short of reaching the playoffs. Despite this setback, their seventh-place finish marked their second-best result since joining the LCK, behind only their sixth-place finish in Spring 2022, the only time they have qualified for the competition’s playoffs.
Much of this progress can be attributed to the promising debut seasons of rookies Namgung and Roamer, as well as toplaner Casting, whose first steps in the LCK with KT Rolster had proved challenging. The team's two most experienced players, Teddy and GIDEON, whose continued place in the LCK had occasionally been questioned by observers, also delivered solid performances at various points throughout the season.
The team recently brought its campaign to a close with its first-ever international tournament appearance, reaching the semi-finals of the
Demacia Cup Global Invitational. Their run ended following a narrow 3–2 defeat to Team WE, providing further experience for a roster that will now look to build on its progress next season.
Last year, BNK FEARX, another LCK organisation operating on a limited budget, retained its entire five-man roster heading into 2026. The decision paid off, as the team made a strong start to the season and even qualified for First Stand. With most LCK teams now rebuilding their rosters, BRION could similarly benefit from the continuity of its lineup heading into 2027.
