Shopify Rebellion have announced the departures of Logan "
Lj" Wilt and head coach Jos
"ViolentPanda" van Meurs
ahead of an expected move to sign Massimo
"Atomic" Franceschi and Daniel
"Daniel" Piecenski for the
Rocket League Club Championship. Lj joined the organization alongside Angel "
kofyr" Lopez and Jason
"Firstkiller" Corral in September 2025. The trio went on to win two Regional Opens, appear at all five international LANs during RLCS 2026 and earned a top-four finish at the Paris Major. Their final result together was a 7th-8th placement in the 2026 World Championship, where they were knocked out by eventual winners Team Falcons in the playoffs. ViolentPanda joined the organization at the same time as the trio, following his departure from Dignitas but is
now making way for the expected addition of NRG head coach Matthew "
Satthew" Ackermann.
Shopify Rebellion quickly went about making changes this offseason.
They allowed kofyr to enter free agency on September 24
before he received a competitive ban from the RLCS for breaking the code of conduct. Daniel and Atomic, who were prioritizing a partnership with Firstkiller for RLCS 2027, were then linked with the organization earlier this month. Satthew, who coached the duo together on NRG and G2 Esports for three years, intends to follow them to Shopify Rebellion.
Lj, who spent the past two years of his career competing with Firstkiller, i
s now set to join FUT Esports as a replacement for the departed Nicholas "
Chronic" Iwanski. He will link up with Justin
"jstn." Morales and Carlos
"CHEESE." Aguado, who earned a surprise top-four finish at the RLCS World Championship under the organization.
