are reinforcing their roster ahead of the start of the LFL Spring 2026. The team is set to make a change in the support role with the return to the league of , who will replace , according to sources close to Sheep Esports. The information is also reflected in the League of Legends Global Contract Database, which indicates that the former LEC support has signed a contract running until the end of 2026.
Mersa therefore returns to the LFL just a few months after leaving . He will replace his compatriot HungryPanda and form a new all-Greek botlane partnership with . Together, they will attempt to elevate Joblife’s level after the French organization failed to qualify for the EMEA Masters Winter, following their defeat to in the opening round of the playoffs.
A new start
After departing Solary on a somewhat disappointing note last year, Mersa joined the TCL with , a team newly introduced to the league. They finished as runners-up in the TCL before being swept by , and were later eliminated during the EMEA Masters group stage by .
The project proved short-lived, however, as the organization announced just a few days ago that it would cease its League of Legends operations. Of the roster’s players, three remain without a team, while AD Carry has joined the Polish side , and Mersa now moves to Joblife.
Prior to that, the support notably competed in the LEC in 2022 with Misfits Gaming and with Team Heretics a year later. Joblife will become his third LFL organization after previous stints with Solary and GamersOrigin in 2021. With his arrival, JL hope to achieve stronger results. Since entering the league last year, the team has yet to secure qualification for the EMEA Masters. Although reaching the playoffs of the LFL Invitational earlier this year already represented a first for the organization, the overall outcome still falls short of the expectations held by its supporters.
