LCK 2026 Season Awards: Gen.G Chovy Wins MVP, DK Smash ROY, cvMax COY

The 2026 LCK Awards have officially been unveiled, with Jeong '' Ji-hoon claiming the Regular Season MVP title. Announced on the 27th at 10:00 AM KST, the awards revealed this season's honorees across major categories, including Regular Season MVP, Rookie of the Year, Head Coach of the Year, and the All-LCK Teams.

Jeong 'Chovy' Ji-hoon achieved a triple crown by securing the Player of the Split (PoM), Regular Season MVP, and a spot on the All-LCK First Team. Since earning his first Regular Season MVP honors in the 2024 Spring Split, Chovy has maintained a complete sweep of every regular season MVP award. Unlike previous splits, the voting unfolded amid much tighter team standings among the nominees, resulting in one of the most closely contested ballots in recent years.

The Rookie of the Year race turned into a friendly civil war between Shin '' Geum-jae and Oh 'Career' Hyeong-seok. With Namgoong '' Seong-hoon firmly locked in third place, Dplus KIA's bot lane duo split the first and second-place votes, with Smash taking the crown after securing the lion's share of first-place ballots.

Head Coach Kim 'cvMax' Dae-ho claimed the first Best Coach award of his career. Prior to this, the only instance of a head coach winning the award without a 1st-place regular season finish was in the 2020 Spring Split, when coach Kim 'Kim' Jeong-soo took the honors after guiding T1 to 2nd-place. With this win, cvMax becomes the head coach from the lowest-ranked team to win the award, since the honor transitioned to an annual format.

Historically, the All-LCK Teams—particularly the First Team—have been dominated by rosters boasting overwhelmingly dominant regular season records. However, amidst the most chaotic standings race since the 2021 Summer Split, this season marked the first time in five years that three or more different teams placed at least one player on the First Team.

In his first season after transferring from the LPL to the LCK, Seo '' Jin-hyeok immediately earned a spot on the All-LCK First Team. He also finished on the podium in the Regular Round MVP voting. Other players making their career debuts on the All-LCK rosters this split included Choi '' Yong-hyeok, Jeon '' Si-woo, and Oh '' Hyeong-seok.
