secured the final spot in the CBLOL Grand Final after sweeping
3-0 in the lower-bracket final on Saturday October 3. The result ended LOUD's campaign in third place, leaving the team without a qualification spot for an international tournament, while FURIA advanced to face
in the decisive series on October 10 in Rio de Janeiro.
The victory also confirmed FURIA's place at Worlds 2026, as both CBLOL finalists will represent Brazil at the international event. The upcoming Grand Final will determine not only the regional champion but also which Brazilian representative earns direct qualification to the Swiss Stage and which must compete in the Play-In stage for a chance to advance.
There, the Brazilian representative will compete against
or
, the third seed from the LCS,
, the third seed from the LCP, and
, the third seed from the LEC, for one place in the Swiss Stage.
FURIA overcome early deficit to complete the sweep
FURIA controlled most of the series, winning all three games and leaving LOUD with little room to recover. The second game, however, provided the biggest challenge of the match, as LOUD established a significant early game lead before FURIA mounted a comeback to secure the victory. Despite the difficult start in that game, FURIA maintained its composure and found a way back into the match.
For LOUD, the defeat brings an end to its CBLOL Split 2 run and its year. After reaching the lower-bracket final, the team needed a win to remain in contention for the title and a place at Worlds. Third place leaves them without a spot at the World Championship or another international event through this campaign.
FURIA extend Brazilian international record
With the result, FURIA further establish their position as the Brazilian team with the most international tournament appearances in a single year. Their qualification for Worlds adds another international event to a season in which the organization has repeatedly represented Brazil beyond the domestic scene: Americas Cup, MSI, EWC and now Worlds.
