Circuito Desafiante (
Circuitao), Brazil’s secondary tournament, just witnessed one of the most dominant runs in
League of Legends history. The Split 2 Finals saw
face
for bragging rights and the first seed in the Circuit Brazilian
League of Legends (
CBLoL)
Promotion Tournament.
Though Kabum put up a valiant effort, the finals were another display of Estral’s superior level. The Mexican Organization devastated the Ilha das Lendas faithful by
trashing its opponent and winning the series 3-0. This victory guarantees that
, the owner of CBLoL’s Guest Slot, and Estral will start the tournament on opposite sides of the bracket. The earliest possible clash between the powerhouses would be the Winner’s Finals.
Estral Esports entire run through Circuito’s Split 2 can only be described as a one-in-a-million feat. Across nine regular-season best-of-ones, two playoff best-of-threes, and two playoff best-of-fives, the Mexican Organization never once conceded an inhibitor.
This mind-blowing feat is almost unheard of across all competitive
League of Legends tournaments. Not even
’s run at Worlds 2015 can rival Estral’s accomplishment during the 2026 Circuitao Split 2. At the World Championship’s fifth edition, the Korean giant was labeled as the heavy favorite, but lost one game in the Finals.
CBLoL’s Promotion Tournament will run from
September 28th to October 12th. Currently, LOS advanced to Split 2’s Winner’s Finals to face
for a chance at Worlds qualification. The Guest Slot team must defend its spot against the winner and the runner-up of Circuitao and Liga Regional Sur
(
LRS).
The Promotion tournament will feature Estral, fellow Latin American teams, and the winner and runner-up of LRS Split 2,
9z Globant and
Golden Lions, respectively, and KaBuM! Ilha das Lendas are the contenders eager to snatch CBLoL’s Guest Slot.
