Diamondprox to continue with Bushido Wildcats for another EMEA Masters match

Former EU LCS legendary jungler will play at least one additional match with the Turkish team at the EMEA Masters. The 33-year-old Russian player confirmed the news himself on his Telegram on Thursday evening, after already appearing in the team’s opening series, which ended in a 2-0 victory over Vantex Esports.

Diamondprox had initially stepped in to replace the team’s starting jungler, , who was absent due to health-related issues affecting his mother. Following a convincing first showing, the TCL’s third seed will face in their next match after having dropped their opening series of the tournament. Depending on the outcome, they could potentially meet Galions as they attempt to progress from their group.

Just hours before the match began on Thursday, Bushido Wildcats had announced Diamondprox’s exceptional appearance with the team—a move that ultimately proved productive for both the Turkish organization and the player. He opened the series with an impressive performance on Pantheon, finishing 7/0/9, before following it up with Xin Zhao to once again guide his team to victory. His performances were well-received by the team’s supporters, particularly as he streamed the games live on his Twitch channel.

The former jungler of Moscow Five and Gambit Gaming—widely regarded as a pioneer of the aggressive jungle playstyle—had previously made a similar appearance at the EMEA Masters Summer 2024, when he briefly joined EGN Esports. He later confirmed in a message on Telegram that he would continue with Bushido Wildcats for at least one additional match in an attempt to once again defeat UCAM. “Tomorrow, we play EMEA again apparently. I'll write down the exact hour later and will maybe do a solo queue stream before the match.”
