Sources: waddle set to join PCIFIC Esports

According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Wadir “waddle” Taraki is set to join PCIFIC Esports ahead of the next stage of the VCT EMEA season. The move would come as part of a bigger reshuffle within the Turkish organization, with Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek expected to be removed from the active roster — as previously reported by Sheep Esports — and Johann “seven” Hernandez projected to take over the Duelist role.

PCIFIC entered the league after an impressive Ascension run and won the tournament. However, since they rebuilt after BBL Esports acquired the full roster, their first months in VCT EMEA have been far more challenging than expected.

PCIFIC’s first two splits in VCT EMEA have failed to produce the breakthrough the organization was hoping for. Despite arriving with momentum from Challengers and Ascension, the team has not won a single series across the two splits and 1 qualifier, recording ten losses while taking only six maps. The numbers tell the story of a project that has often exhibited flashes of resistance, but never enough consistency to convert close moments to actual results.

With cNed elaving the active lineup, seven moving into the Duelist position, and waddle joining the team, the organization appears ready to move away from its initial roster and search for a new direction before the last run and a potential Top 2 at VCT EMEA Split 2 and claim their ticket for the Champions 2026 Shanghai.
