SOURCES – VALORANT: Fit1nho and coaches meisoN & xikii set to continue with Barça eSports next season

Barça eSports have begun building their roster for the upcoming VALORANT Challengers Spain season. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Adolfo "Fit1nho" Gallego and coaches Juan Carlos "meisoN" Chacón and Victor "xikii" Garcia have reached an agreement to remain with the Catalan organization for 2026.

Barça’s 2025 campaign was an up-and-down journey in VALORANT’s Tier 2. The team finished 6th in Stage 1, dropped to 9th in Stage 2 (forcing them into a relegation qualifier, which they won), and closed the year with a 3-4th place finish in Stage 3. That roster featured Daniel "Saiz" Ruiz, Tomas "Vorwenn" Baldrich, Kacper "krejzzs" Furtak, Christian "lowel" Garcia, and Fit1nho.

By retaining Fit1nho and his coaching staff, the Blaugrana won’t be starting from scratch heading into next season. Much like the architect Barcelona is famous for, the club aims to lay down solid foundations for its next project. Keeping key pieces in place gives Barça continuity—especially after their late-season upswing in VCL.

Despite struggling through most of the year, the Catalan side found better form in Split 3, finishing 2nd in Group B with a 3-1 record. The playoffs proved trickier, however, as Barça fell in their opening match to KOI Fénix. Even so, the 3-4th finish was their best of the season, edging closer to the level of results they had achieved the previous year.

Unsurprisingly, Barça is choosing to build around some of the core contributors of that run. Former VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) EMEA player Fit1nho will continue wearing the Blaugrana colors. The Spanish Initiator, who already experienced the higher level on Riot’s FPS by playing during Champions 2023 and the LOCK//IN São Paulo, will once again be tasked with leading the project toward success.

Alongside him, his coaching staff duo will remain intact. MeisoN—who joined the organization in 2024—will begin his third season with the club. His résumé already includes leading Barça to the Split 2 title in 2024, which earned them a spot at the VCT Ascension event. His right-hand man, xikii, who first linked up with him at Falcons in 2023, will continue into his second season with the team.

As of September 1st, Vorwenn, krejzzs, and lowel are no longer listed as active players for the organization, and per sources Saiz will not continue with the team, meaning more roster moves should be expected before the start of the new season.
