According to sources close to Sheep Esports, glacier has been promoted to Wolves Esports’ active lineup for the upcoming VALORANT 2026 VCT China season. The young Taiwanese Duelist was secured by the organization in late 2025, as previously reported by Sheep Esports, but was unable to start the season due to the official age limit, a threshold he will reach on March 31. He will replace Bijan “qiutiaN” Moeinzadeh in the actvie roster. Spotted for his standout performances in China’s lower divisions, he had been presented as early as December as a long-term investment, slated to make his top-tier debut once eligible.
This promotion comes as Wolves look to build on a 2025 season that was mixed yet formative. The Chinese organization posted a top-three finish at Stage 1 of the VCT China league, before putting together a strong run at VALORANT Masters Toronto, punctuated by several reference wins, only to slow down markedly at Stage 2. By confirming glacier, the roster appears to follow a partial renewal logic: gradually integrating a young, high-impact profile into a squad that is already seasoned across both the Chinese circuit and the international stage.
qiutiaN in negotiations to become FunPlus Phoenix and NOVA’s fifth man
On the other side, sources close to Sheep Esports also report that qiutiaN, formerly known as autumN, is currently in talks with FunPlus Phoenix and NOVA Esports. In 2025, he served as Thunder Gaming’s in-game leader, helping steer the team to Ascension China before being recruited by Wolves for the following season.
Now established in VCT China and regularly deployed in flexible roles, qiutiaN has, over the past few months, accumulated a first meaningful tranche of experience at the highest regional level.
