According to sources,
Geekay Esports have reached an agreement to sign Enzo "
Seikoo" Grondein and Charles "
juicy" Sabiani, who are expected to link up with current member of the organization, Mathis
"mtzr" Hoareau, for the
Rocket League Club Championship.
While the duo entertained offers with Evan "
M0nkey M00n" Rogez initially, things have now moved in a different direction. Geekay Esports already had mtzr on the books and are behind the 19-year-old to be a key player for them next season, leaving only two available slots on the starting roster. There remain a number of opportunities for the two-time World Champion in Europe,
with multiple organizations yet to settle on a roster. Christian
"TempoH" Mortensen, who joined Geekay Esports for Split 2 of RLCS 2026, is expected to depart the organization.
Seikoo joins Geekay Esports for a second time in his career having previously competed with the organization for Split 1 of RLCS 2026, earning a top-eight appearance at the Boston Major alongside Joseph
"Joyo" Young and Jack
"ApparentlyJack" Benton. Seikoo
departed Geekay Esports after being sidelined by the organization to join Man City Esports, where he reached the Paris Major and 2026 World Championship. Despite making multiple changes for Split 2 and even for the European LCQ when mtzr joined the organization, Geekay Esports failed to qualify for another LAN event after the Boston Major. The organization was a regular at the top last season, with a second-place at the 2025 Esports World Cup and a top-four at the World Championship.
Currently, Geekay Esports are not one of the
20 teams that have been invited to the RLCS Club Championship partnership program. While they were part of the Esports Shop revenue share scheme during RLCS 2026, the organization looks set to be passed over this year for new entries like
AG.AL and
Team Heretics. Despite this, Geekay Esports is one of a few organizations waiting in reserve in case others drop out this month. They have been exploring the market in recent weeks, showing interest in multiple players. The organization only
announced the departures of Yanis "
Alpha54" Champenois and coach Victor "
Fairy Peak!" Locquet in September, who both had short end-of-season stints on the team.
The Saudi organization is not part of the Club Championship yet but it does offer a lucrative destination for players with strong salaries in the scene, allowing them to remain competitive even with the partnered organizations. While the roster is currently not expected to receive a direct invite to the London Kick-Off LAN which kick-starts the RLCS Club Championship,
one slot has been made available to Europe through an open qualifier that begins on November 13. This qualifier will work in a similar way to the European LCQ for the RLCS World Championship, which saw Mate y Tapa work their way through a gruelling online qualifier to
claim the final European slot at the tournament.
