Riot Games has just revealed, this Friday, July 24,
the dates for the 2025 League of Legends Worlds Championship, as well as the stadiums that will host the global competition. As previously announced by the North American publisher last October, China will be hosting the competition for the third time in its history, following Beijing in 2017 and Shanghai in 2020. For the 2025 edition, the tournament will take place over four weeks, from
October 14 to November 9, across three different stadiums throughout the country.
The
Knockout stage, running from
October 28 to November 2, will take place at the
Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, which also hosted the
VALORANT Masters Shanghai in 2024. This stadium will host both the quarterfinals and semifinals back-to-back, with no rest day in betweenâa first in Worlds' history.
