Riot Games has brought back True Damage for the
League of Legends World Championship 2026 anthem, “
Know My Name,” with a music video dedicated to the legendary career of
Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok. The song revisits some of the biggest moments in Faker’s career, from his first World Championship victory in 2013 to
T1’s historic three-peat in 2025.
However, the music video is more than a celebration of Faker’s
six World Championship titles. It is packed with references to iconic matches, former teammates, rival teams, memorable plays, and the difficult moments that shaped his journey. Moreover, it also looks ahead to Faker’s next challenge as he aims to extend his legacy at
Worlds 2026.
Here are all the major Easter eggs included in the “Know My Name” music video.
Faker’s 2017 Worlds Defeat
The music video opens with Faker’s defeat against Samsung Galaxy in the 2017 World Championship final. It recalls his famous Shockwave play against Edward Gaming before showing Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk’s Varus ultimate catching Faker during the final. Samsung Galaxy swept SK Telecom T1 3-0, ending Faker’s hopes of winning three consecutive World Championship titles.
Faker is then shown breaking down in tears, with former SKT teammates Lee "Wolf" Jae-wan, Bae "Bang" Jun-sik, Han "Peanut" Wang-ho, and Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon also appearing immediately afterward.
Faker’s First Three World Championship Titles
Faker looks back at the banners representing his 2013, 2015, and 2016 World Championship victories. In addition, the music video features the following iconic moments from those tournaments:
- Worlds 2013: Faker’s Ahri faces Kim "PraY" Jong-in’s Corki during the semifinals against NaJin Black Sword.
- Worlds 2015: The final against KOO Tigers, featuring Jang "MaRin" Gyeong-hwan’s Gnar and Song "Smeb" Kyung-ho’s Lulu.
- Worlds 2016: Faker’s Orianna appears in a recreation of the memorable semifinal against ROX Tigers.
The Teams That Won Worlds From 2017 to 2021
Following his 2017 defeat, Faker walks through a city featuring the teams that won Worlds while T1 waited for another title. The video includes Samsung Galaxy (2017), Invictus Gaming (2018), FunPlus Phoenix (2019), Damwon Gaming (2020), and EDward Gaming (2021). The sequence captures the years Faker spent trying to return to the top of the competitive League of Legends scene.
The Formation of ZOFGK
Faker enters an elevator and reaches for the button marked three. Before the doors close, Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong stops them and enters the elevator with his dog, followed by Ryu "Keria" Min-seok, Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun, and Choi "Zeus" Woo-je. This symbolizes the formation of ZOFGK. It marks the beginning of a new chapter in Faker’s career, as he finds teammates who will help him reclaim the World Championship.
T1’s Heartbreaking 2022 Worlds Final Against DRX
“Know My Name” revisits T1’s 2022 Worlds run, including its knockout-stage victories against Royal Never Give Up and JD Gaming. The story then turns to the final against DRX. Faker’s Viktor and Zeus’ Gwen attempt a backdoor while the Elder Dragon fight distracts the opposition. Hwang "Kingen" Seong-hoon’s Aatrox and Kim "Zeka" Geon-woo’s Azir help stop the attempt. Faker falls as T1’s Nexus is destroyed. Keria is subsequently shown crying as Faker comforts him, drawing a parallel between his own heartbreak and the pain Keria experiences.
Faker’s 2023 Comeback
The music video highlights T1’s victories against LNG Esports, JD Gaming, and Weibo Gaming during the 2023 Worlds knockout stage. Faker’s memorable Akali performance against Weibo Gaming also receives attention. The message “I picked up trash today” (translated from Korean) implies that fans performed good deeds to bring luck to Faker and the team during the tournament.
Faker’s Galio Play Against Bilibili Gaming
The sequence moves to the 2024 Worlds final against Bilibili Gaming. One of the key moments comes when Faker’s Galio entrance saves Zeus. The Chinese phrase “The highest mountain and the longest river” (translated from Chinese) is associated with Faker among LPL fans.
Zeus Leaves T1
Zeus walks away from Faker, portraying his departure from T1 after the 2024 season to join Hanwha Life Esports. This was a bittersweet farewell and marked the end of the original ZOFGK lineup, which won consecutive World Championship titles in 2023 and 2024.
T1’s 2025 Worlds Final Against KT Rolster
T1’s 3-2 victory over KT Rolster in the 2025 Worlds final is recreated. Doran appears with Gragas, while other scenes reference the matchups between Gumayusi and Seo "deokdam" Dae-gil, and between Faker and Gwak "Bdd" Bo-sung. Keria’s Renata Glasc helps protect Faker after Bdd’s Cassiopeia catches him. The sequence ends with a callback to the 2025 Worlds teaser: “If you want it... then earn it from me.”
T1’s tower rises as the surrounding buildings turn red, showcasing the organization’s return to dominance.
T1’s Historic Three-Peat and Journey Ahead
Faker places the 2025 World Championship trophy beside his collection, highlighting T1’s three consecutive titles from 2023 to 2025. He then looks toward an
empty space beside the trophies. The scene can be interpreted as a representation of Faker’s goal of winning another championship.
