From October 22 to November 1, 2026, São Paulo will host the
VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2026, the World Championship for Riot Games' FPS competitive scene reserved for women and marginalized genders. Having won in 2025, Team Liquid Brazil will obviously be present on home soil, alongside Shopify Rebellion Gold, the only organization to have won the competition twice, in 2023 and 2024.
For this competition, ten teams will face off in a double-elimination bracket. As with
VALORANT Champions, the entire playoff stage will be played in best-of-three matches, except for the grand final and the lower bracket final, which will be best-of-five. With ten teams, Riot had to adapt
its format to include an opening round featuring only four teams before the remaining participants enter the competition in the quarterfinals.
Which teams are competing?
A total of ten teams will travel to São Paulo for the competition, with three coming from the EMEA region, two from Pacific, and one each from North America, China, Brazil, and LATAM. The final spot was contested by teams from across the Americas region.
For this last slot, MIBR GC, a Brazilian organization, came out on top against representatives from North America and LATAM. Two local organizations will therefore be present, with MIBR GC joining Team Liquid. In North America, Shopify Rebellion Gold qualified as expected, while KRÜ Blaze secured the spot for South and Central America.
In Asia, NOVA Esports qualified to represent China, just as it did in 2025, while
Gen.G Esports and FENNEL will represent the Pacific region after winning their respective regional qualifiers. In EMEA, G2 Gozen, historically the region's most successful team, will compete alongside Gentle Mates and SK Nebula.
