have become the first team eliminated from the Swiss Stage at
Worlds 2026. The Vietnamese team, the
LCP’s first seed, were knocked out after a final defeat to
, failing to win a single game throughout the tournament. It is a disappointing result for a team that had hoped to achieve much more after showing promise at MSI earlier this year.
Coming into the tournament with high expectations following an impressive year in the LCP, jungler
was unable to impose his playstyle on the international stage this time around. Following his final game, he spoke to
Sheep Esports for a few minutes.
This series was back and forth, really close. The game was decided by inches. What do you think separated you today from LOS?
Lê “Hizto” Văn Hoàng Hải: “Both me and the team agree that, before stepping into this match, we were having serious issues with both mechanics and mentality. We were unable to solve it before stepping into the match; that's why we lost against them.
Can you tell me a little bit about playing against Raí " Yamada?
Hizto: Honestly, I did not pay much attention to him; I was mostly focusing on my own team only, and it's a shame that we struggled a lot in the early game and we still couldn't get much of an advantage during mid game.
You went to First Stand and couldn't win a game, then at MSI you had the highest of highs beating an LPL team. There was an earlier interview with Sheep Esports, where you said that every time you go to an international, it's like opening a new chapter. What would be the name of the 2026 season?
Hizto: Honestly, going into this tournament, both me and my team would never have expected us to lose so early. It seems like we went home with 0-6, although I think it's more like 0-4. I have nothing else to say other than sorry to my fans.
How would you describe this season as a whole? It had super high highs, winning three championships in a row, but internationally, it's been a little bit lackluster.
Hizto: I felt like everything that I have build up during the whole year has collapsed. I felt very disappointed about myself. Hopefully, if we’re still together next year, I hope me and my teammates can fix the issues that we have.
The LCP is going to change drastically into 2027, returning to a regional format, and then concluding in an interregional Grand Finals. How do you think this will affect the development of a region like Vietnam?
Hizto: I wouldn’t worry too much about the format for next year. We will most likely be focusing on ourselves, making sure we’re on the best form possible so that we can fight with the international opponents.
Can you tell us about the decision to draft Game 2’s composition? Why do you think that was the comp that TSW needed to crawl back into the game?
Hizto: I wouldn't go too deep into the ban pick. I'm not trying to blame anyone here, but personally, I think once we've first picked Vi, the follow-up picks should not be melee champions, like Jax and Locke.
What do you think is next for TSW as a squad? How much more do you think you can grow when you've dominated this much in the regional phase? And how much have you learned from the international stage this year?
Hizto: We treat every international event as a lesson for us to grow, and for the future of Team Secret Worlds, I think we're still trying our best to become better each day.”
