Having initially allowed Benjamin "
Eversax" Wagner to
explore his opportunities after his contract came to an end this offseason,
Team Vitality are now expected to retain his services ahead of the
Rocket League Club Championship next season having reached a verbal agreement with the Belgian coach. Eversax, who joined the organization with Gaspar "
stizzy" Andres in October 2025, now looks set to work with a new roster under Team Vitality. The organization
reached a verbal agreement to sign Nassim "
nass" Bali, Oskar "
Oski" Gozdowski, and João "
diaz" Henrique earlier this offseason, after Alexis "
zen" Bernier had made his intentions clear to leave Team Vitality. The 19-year-old, who has been the face of the organization in Rocket League since RLCS 2022-23, is
nearing a deal to join Gentle Mates alongside Tristan
"Atow." Soyez and Axel "
Vatira" Touret.
Since retiring as a player in 2021, Eversax has been a consistent figure at the top of the French coaching scene. He joined his first organization as a coach, Karmine Corp, in 2022 and has since featured for all the top current French organizations in the esport, including Gentle Mates and Karmine Corp. Across his career as a coach, he’s appeared at four World Championships, won the Copenhagen Major in RLCS 2024 and has coached in every Regional Open event since his debut tournament. During RLCS 2026, he helped Team Vitality achieve a second-place finish at the Boston Major and a top-four in Paris, before results tailed off towards the end of the season. His final event with the last roster was the 2026 World Championship, where Team Vitality ultimately disappointed fans with another 9th-12th exit for zen.
In the immediate aftermath, it became clear that the roster would not stick for another season. Stizzy, who only signed with the team ahead of RLCS 2026, was
allowed to explore his opportunities after his contract ended this offseason. Although he initially remained in talks with Team Vitality, the Spaniard is now
set to join his compatriot Cristian "
crr" Raigal on Ninjas in Pyjamas. Brice "
ExoTiiK" Bigeard, who has made no official announcement of his position with the organization, is still expected to make way for the new roster of Oski, nass and diaz. With the expected departure of zen as well, for the first time since entering the esport, Team Vitality will not field a single French professional next season. Only Eversax will survive the offseason from the team that competed in RLCS 2026 and at least represents the Francophone region on the new lineup.
