Sources: Passzi set to join UCAM for the 2027 LES season

From “Not sure what the future holds” to being one of the very first moves of the offseason. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, will join in the Liga Española de League of Legends (LES). A former semi-professional volleyball player, the Hungarian support has just completed his fourth season on the competitive scene and will therefore return to the Spanish league, following his stint with Guasones Team in Summer 2025.

A difficult first appearance, as his team finished bottom of the Superliga with a 1-8 record. Passzi and his teammates did, however, win the promotion tournament, which should have allowed Guasones to remain in the national top flight. The club nevertheless left the league amid a change in tournament operator and format, which also had an impact on the start of the 2026 season.

After his Iberian adventure, Passzi returned to where he had come from, the EBL. The support had played both the Winter and Spring splits of the Balkan league in 2025, and did so again in 2026. The Hungarian player also finished third in three of the four EBL splits he has played. But Passzi has been something of a nomad throughout his career.

Before 2026, he had never spent an entire season with the same club and had already played in five different ERLs. This season was no exception. After playing the Esports Nations Cup qualifiers — eventually postponed to 2027 — with his country, Passzi left the EBL for the Summer Split to land in the Nexus League, France's second division. He joined Galions' academy team, Galions Shark.

Having played for Lille Esport two years earlier, Passzi was already familiar with the local ecosystem. Under his new colors, he added another bronze medal to his record. He began the split by frequently turning to engage champions such as Camille, Shen, and Rakan. That pool appears to fit his identity as a player, judging by his history over the past several years, with Nautilus, Rell, and Leona standing as his most-played champions. Passzi nevertheless seems to have sought to broaden his palette, as the latter part of his split was marked by the emergence of several enchanters, including Lulu, Milio, Karma, and Soraka.

In SoloQ, Passzi hit Challenger in Seasons 13 and 14. This year, the support climbed above 2,100 LP but has yet to go beyond Grandmaster. In 2026, his most-played champion, with nearly 200 games, is Bard, whom he has also brought out around ten times in competitive play throughout his career. Pyke also appears to be among his preferred champions, with several appearances in official matches and just over 80 SoloQ games played on the champion this season.

At UCAM, Passzi will take over from Besmir "iLevi" Jakupi. The team spent the year near the top of the standings, reaching the semifinals of a swift Winter Split before making it to the Spring final. The university team consequently qualified for the first two editions of the 2026 EMEA Masters and even reached the last four in the Spring, only to be convincingly eliminated by Solary (0-3). In the Summer, the organization slipped slightly to fourth place, with only the top three qualifying for the EMEA Masters. To round off their season, the club took part in the LES Final Four. While UCAM got past Barça eSports in the opening round, their season came to an end against eventual winners Movistar KOI Fénix.
