, played last Sunday September 27, according to information obtained by
Sheep Esports. The penalty is related to a gesture the played made against fans after the 3-2 victory, which secured LĂS a place in the tournament's grand final.
According to information obtained by Sheep Esports, the penalty carries a minimum fine of R$ 5,000 (approximately US$ 1,000). However, the exact amount imposed on Zest has not yet been confirmed. Also according to Sheep Esports reporting, LĂS has agreed to cover the fine imposed on the player. The incident took place at the end of the deciding game of the series.
Precedent involving Tatu
Zest's case is not the first disciplinary incident involving a potential violation of the player code of conduct during this CBLOL season. Pedro â
â Seixas, the jungler for
, was also punished for a similar type of infraction during the season. Both cases involve disciplinary penalties, although the details and circumstances of each incident differ.
The code of conduct establishes behavioral standards for professionals competing in the league. Sanctions are intended to hold players accountable for actions that violate these guidelines and uphold the standards expected in official competitions.
In Tatu's case, in addition to a financial penalty, the player received a one-series suspension and was ruled out of FURIA's match against LĂS in the upper bracket. FURIA subsequently fielded jungler Diogo â
â RogĂȘ in his place.
Had Zest received the same punishment, he would miss the CBLOL Grand Final on October 10 in Rio de Janeiro. However, according to Sheep Esports, the South Korean player received a financial penalty only and will therefore remain eligible to compete in the final.
LOUD, LĂS and FURIA remain in contention
Following their defeat to LĂS, LOUD remain in contention for a place at the World Championship through the CBLOL lower bracket. Their next match will be against FURIA in an elimination series, with the losing team ending its season.

LĂS have already reached the Promotion Grand Final and are waiting to discover their opponent, who will be one of three teams:
