Full Sense endured a season of two halves in 2026

FULL SENSE have secured their place in VALORANT's Tier 1 ecosystem for another cycle. Having capitalised on TALON's departure to take over a VCT Pacific slot in 2026, the Thai team have now been selected as one of the region's eight partner teams for the 2027–2028 cycle, according to sources close to Sheep Esports.
The organization is coming off an inconsistent season. After an underwhelming Kickoff, FS pulled off a surprise run to the Stage 1 final, thereby securing qualification for Masters London. However, fortune soon turned against Hector "FrosT" Rosario's side. Following an early exit in the UK, they were knocked out in the Stage 2 Play-In.
The new cycle will bring sweeping changes to the wider ecosystem, which is set to become considerably more open. Any team will be able to qualify for international events. Nevertheless, partner status remains a significant advantage, with the number of partner teams reduced from ten to eight per region. These organizations are guaranteed a place at their region's Kickoff. For VCT Pacific, the season-opening tournament will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from January 14 to February 7, giving FULL SENSE the chance to compete on home soil.
Partner teams will receive a base payment
Partner status also allows teams to bypass the opening rounds of the Open Qualifiers, which are open to all teams and lead into the Cups. These tournaments replace the Stages held in previous seasons and will be the sole route to qualification for international events. In the Pacific region, the first Cup will take place in Manila, Philippines, from April 29 to May 23, while the second will be held in Tokyo, Japan, from August 5 to 29. The region will also host the year's first Masters, scheduled to take place in Seoul, South Korea, from February 20 to May 3. Financially, partner teams will first continue to receive a base payment while also retaining revenue generated through their in-game team capsules.
Although FULL SENSE are now a partner team, the open format has served them well in the past. Before the current system was introduced in 2023, FS qualified for the inaugural edition of Champions in 2021. Their campaign was short-lived, however, as they exited the group stage after losing both matches without winning a single map.
In 2026, FULL SENSE were also the only Thai team competing in VCT Pacific, a factor that may well have influenced Riot Games' decision. Leo Faria, Global Head of VALORANT Esports, has previously explained that regional representation is taken into account when selecting partner teams, while stressing that "there's no rule or fixed number of slots per region." FS also field a Game Changers roster, another criterion considered by Riot Games, as previously reported by Sheep Esports.
