In celebration of League of Legends' 15th year of esports, Riot Games has prepared a special return for the 2025 Worlds Championship. The Summoner's Cup will be back after being replaced three years ago, and will be handed to the world champion at the end of the season.
Riot Games' most coveted MOBA trophy will be presented to the Worlds 2025 champion team on November 9 at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium - the venue for the championship grand final in Chengdu, China.
Summoner's Cup combines tradition and modernity
The Summoner's Cup has been modernized for its return in 2025, replacing the model produced by Tiffany & Co. in recent years. It combines the silhouette of the original Summoner's Cup, which has been lifted by great teams, with a more modern design that aims to reflect the modernization of esports.
In addition, the trophy's weight has also been reduced by almost half, making it easier to handle on the biggest stage of the season. Finally, Riot has chosen to maintain the tradition created with the previous manufacturer, engraving the names of all previous champions. See the presentation of the new Summoner's Cup:
Both previous trophies are on display at Riot Games' headquarters in Las Vegas.
Worlds takes place between October 14 and November 9

With games taking place between October 14 and November 9, Worlds is being hosted in China, with three cities hosting tournament games: Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu.
Riot Games has prepared a party for the grand final day, with live shows by big stars such as Chinese singer-songwriter G.E.M. Finally, fans who follow the games on the official Riot Games website can win exclusive bonuses - almost a dozen accessories that can be used in the game.
