Group B
was the strongest. Its teams secured three out of four victories against Group A opponents in the Flash In Swiss Stage opening round—the first LFL split of the year. The action kicked off on Wednesday with the round's biggest upset: Ici Japon Corp’s 2-0 triumph over Vitality.Bee, who had gone undefeated in the previous phase. Despite Josip “Jopa” Čančar’s standout performance on Nilah in Game 1, the Nocturne-Orianna combo proved too much to handle. In Game 2, Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié brought out the third Lee Sin mid of his career but suffered his first defeat on the champion.
BK ROG, meanwhile, lived up to expectations. The Group B leaders overcame Joblife 2-0, navigating a tense first game before completely dominating the second. The following day, Solary pulled off a comeback against Gentle Mates after dropping Game 1, where Mark “Markoon” van Woensel picked a jungle Nautilus. A similar storyline played out in the final match of the round: after taking the first game, Galions were overwhelmed by Karmine Corp Blue in the next two, making KCB the only Group A team to secure a victory in the opening round of the Swiss Stage.
In the second round, within the 1-0 bracket, IJC will face BKR, while
Solary will go up against their rivals, KCB. The winners of these matchups will advance to the upper bracket final, where they will compete not only for a spot in the grand final but also for
the first EMEA Masters of the year. Meanwhile, in the 0-1 bracket, Galions and Vitality.Bee are set for what promises to be a high-stakes showdown, while Gentle Mates will take on Joblife in the final match of the round. The losers of these encounters will be eliminated from the Flash In.
