LoL - LFL: BDSA heads to the LCQ, multiple tiebreaker scenarios on the table for the final day

BDSA is officially heading to the Last Chance Qualifier. The battle for ninth place — and the final spot to avoid the LCQ — will now be decided this Friday between four teams: GameWard, Galions, Gentle Mates, and Karmine Corp Blue. On top of that, since seeding plays a crucial role in determining Swiss Stage matchups, the final day of the regular season could see several tiebreakers. We don't know yet if head-to-head will prevail. We’ll have to wait for confirmation of the exact scenarios.

GameWard pulled off their first major upset in the opening match, taking down Galions. While their fate still isn’t entirely in their hands, this was the first step toward escaping the bottom of the standings. Now, they must beat Vitality.Bee, who is currently in top form and hopes one of its direct opponents will lose this Friday. Meanwhile, BDSA wasn’t as fortunate. After losing to Solary, they are now guaranteed to finish in the bottom two and have become the first team officially locked into the LCQ.

At the top of the standings, there’s less tension. VIT.B, ICI Japon Corp, Joblife, BK ROG, and Solary are all guaranteed a spot in the Swiss Stage. Still, we got to witness a powerful showing from Joblife, who put an end to Ici Japon Corp’s win streak in style. Lee "Hans SamD" Jae-hoon was completely shut down, and JL displayed flawless control with a comp that could’ve lacked damage — something Leny "Leny" Albertini disproved in the late game with a standout play on Ambessa. BK ROG also kept up their steady momentum, handing Flash In’s winners a fifth loss and putting them in a tricky position in the standings.

All eyes are now on the opening match of Friday: GameWard vs. VIT.B. If GameWard loses, they’re locked into ninth place. If they win, everything is still possible. There’s also a chance we see multiple tiebreakers, as seeding will play a key role in determining matchups for the Swiss Stage. Every game counts, with teams fighting for the best possible path to make a deep run in this LFL Spring Split.
