“yoman” Young-moon has been released from his Global Esports contract — supposed to run until 2026 —by mutual agreement and will not be part of the team’s 2026
VALORANT VCT Pacific roster. Per sources, Global Esports initially planned to bench its player, but after discussions with him and his agency, the organization decided to release him from his contract instead of keeping him inactive.
Still according to our info, Global Esports plan to trial their current players for next season, except for yoman, while only Savva “Kr1stal” Fedorov and Go “UdoTan” Kyung-won are fully confirmed at this time.
yoman joined Global Esports in the middle of 2025, participated in the Pacific League and EWC regional qualifiers. Known for his flexibility and experience, he has played in Tier 2 and Tier 1 organizations such as Nongshim RedForce in VCL and Gen.G in the VCL and VCT. At Kickoff Pacific 2025, he was able to adapt to the team, but he is most impactful on Initiators.
Global Esports then placed 9th–12th in the Pacific Kickoff and was not in playoff contention in Pacific Stage 1. In the Esports World Cup Pacific Qualifier, they reached the semifinals before losing to DRX. Despite these encouraging results, Global Esports failed to turn things around, ending the season with four consecutive losses and finishing 11th–12th in Stage 2 of the VCT Pacific.
