Sources: Karmine Corp’s completed 2025 LEC roster

Karmine Corp’s highly anticipated debut in the LEC turned into a nightmare. Kamel “Kameto” Kebir’s club began its journey in League of Legends' EMEA elite with back-to-back last-place finishes in the Winter and Spring Splits, ending with a dismal record of 4-14. These results cost the place of the club's two legends on the sololanes, Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet in the toplane, and Lucas “Saken” Fayard in the midlane, as well as Chinese jungler Yango “Bo” Zhou.

In their place, KC recruited Kim “Canna” Chang-dong and Can “Closer” Çelik while promoting midlaner Vladimiros “Vladi” Kourtidis, fresh off winning the LFL championship with the academy team. These changes brought about significant improvement, as the Blue Wall rebounded in the Summer Split. While the deficits from the first two splits kept them out of the Season Finals, the team managed an impressive fourth-place finish in the Summer split.

Heading into the next season, Karmine Corp are retaining two of their three summer additions: Canna and Vladi. Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé keeps his spot as the support of the team and is the only holdover from the original 2024 LEC KC roster. The organization has also made two significant changes: Martin “Yike” Sundelin will replace Closer in the jungle, and rising star Caliste “Caliste” Henry-Hennebert, now of age, will take over the AD Carry position vacated by Elias “Upset” Lipp.

These two additions signal KC’s ambitions to reach new heights. Yike comes with an impressive resume from G2 Esports, where he claimed seven out of the eight European titles awarded over the past two years, including a domestic Grand Slam in 2023. However, G2’s struggles on the international stage prompted the team to revamp its roster, leaving Yike as one of the casualties.

Meanwhile, Caliste promises to be the centerpiece of Karmine Corp’s roster and a fan favorite, particularly in France. The young ADC has dazzled in the LFL over the past two years, and some fans are already calling him “Europe's savior”. His meteoric rise began alongside Targamas in Summer 2023, when he debuted in the LFL, winning both the league and the EMEA Masters. While his youth delayed his entry into the LEC, Caliste has since gained valuable experience and now looks fully prepared to compete at the EMEA elite level in 2025.
