Gryffinn has been Challenger since age 13
With the third split of the inaugural LTA season approaching, LOUD has reached a verbal agreement with North American jungler Johnson “Gryffinn” Le, according to sources close to Sheep Esports (first reported by Mitas). He also had interest from teams in NACL and ERL.
Gryffinn was considered one of the most promising Western players in Korea’s developmental ecosystem. Known for his aggressive jungle pathing and a comfort pool featuring Kindred, Nidalee, and early-tempo picks, he earned attention after reaching Rank 1 on the NA ladder and climbing to Challenger peaking rank 7 in Korean solo queue — all before turning 18. He has also been a Challenger since age 13.
A first experience in a major league
The start of LOUD’s journey in the LTA has been rocky. After a mid-table finish in Split 1, being one of the teams obliterated by the LTA North in quarters, and a lack of synergy between their solo laners and jungler, the team made the difficult decision to part ways with Na "Wiz" Yoo-joon, one of the most experienced players in the region. He was replaced by Shini, who took over the role for Split 2. But synergy issues persisted, and the Brazilian organization ended in 5-6th place, prompting LOUD to look abroad for a fresh spark.

During his time with T1 Academy Rookies, Gryffinn stood out — a North American rookie competing in one of the most demanding developmental systems in the world. Brought into the roster in late 2023, he was part of T1’s effort to scout raw international talent, training daily alongside Korean prospects with eyes on the LCK Challengers league.
At just 18, Gryffinn is stepping into a major league for the first time — a bold leap that will test not only his mechanics but his ability to adapt once again to a new culture, a new language, and an unfamiliar competitive rhythm. After navigating the structured intensity of Korea, he now faces the chaos and flair of the Latin American scene, where communication, chemistry, and fast adaptation will be just as crucial as raw skill.
