The second international event of the year is fast approaching. After a historic First Stand that saw Hanwha Life Esports lift their first international trophy, the Mid-Season Invitational is just around the corner. The action kicks off on June 27 across the Pacific in Vancouver, Canada, where ten teams — two from each major region — will step into the ring to claim one of the most prestigious titles in League of Legends and succeed Gen.G, champions of the 2024 edition.
As the second split of the season draws to a close around the globe, the picture is starting to come into focus. We now know the names of some teams already locked in, while others are still battling through the gauntlet of playoffs and regional finals. To help you keep up, Sheep Esports has compiled the full list of teams still in contention for MSI 2025 across all regions.

Teams still in the race to qualify for Vancouver

Teams already qualified
All the teams qualified for the MSI are now known, LEC will send Movistar KOI and G2 Esports, LCP will be represented by CTBC Flying Oyster and GAM, Anyone's Legend and Bilibili Gaming will be LPL's seeds while the LTA will count on FlyQuest and Furia. The LCK is the only region that will not send any team to the Play-In Stage, thanks to Hanwha Life Esports’ victory at the First Stand, so both T1 and Gen.G will go directly to the Bracket Stage. The second seeds from the LEC, LPL, and LCP, along with the top seed from LTA South, will compete in the Play-In for a spot in the Bracket Stage.
