LoL: Shopify Rebellion's completed 2026 LCS roster

If Shopify Rebellion’s 2025 roster was considered the biggest surprise in LTA North, their LCS 2026 lineup looks even more promising on paper. By retaining most of their core players, the team is clearly aiming to disrupt the league’s podium once again. With FlyQuest losing some of its previous momentum, Shopify should now contend at the top alongside ambitious projects from LYON, Cloud9, and Team Liquid.

The organization is keeping four players from its 2025 roster, marking its second year in the league since acquiring TSM’s LCS spot at the end of 2023. From that era, they continue with head coach Seong “Reven” Sang-hyeon, a veteran entering his third season with the team, just like their AD Carry Ju “Bvoy” Yeong-hoon. The retained starting lineup also includes support Denilson “Ceos” Oliveira Gonçalves, jungler Juan Arturo “Contractz” Garcia, and toplaner Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami — the 2025 Most Improved Player — all of whom joined the roster last year.

The only roster change heading into 2026 will come in the midlane. South Korean midlaner Yoo “Zinie” Baek-jin, widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the LCK CL, has chosen to join Shopify Rebellion — marking one of the most impactful transfers of the offseason. After dominating Korea’s second tier with KT Rolster Challengers, winning every major title across 2024–2025, and twice earning regular-season MVP honors, Zinie chose to move abroad in search of Tier 1 playtime, as KT’s starting spot remains locked down by Gwak "Bdd" Bo-sung, fresh off a Worlds-runner up campaign. His move mirrors that of other promising Korean mids like Lee "Loki" Sang-min (Cloud9) and Kang "Saint" Sung-in (LYON), signaling another significant LCK-to-LCS talent shift.

Zinie’s signing follows heavy offseason interest from major regional contenders — Karmine Corp, several LCK and LPL teams, and even Cloud9, before those teams settled on other options. Last year, Movistar KOI attempted to sign him but were blocked by KT. Now a free agent, Zinie joins Shopify as the team’s new franchise midlaner, replacing Cristian "Palafox" Palafox. For Shopify Rebellion, this move represents a major step forward. With a player already tested at Korea’s highest developmental level and known for dominant performances on Annie, Azir, and Ahri, the team gains a potential star capable of elevating them beyond domestic contention and toward international relevance.
