Riot Games has issued an official tribute to Maciej âShusheiâ Ratuszniak, the iconic midlaner and MVP of the inaugural
League of Legends World Championship. In a statement released today, the publisher honors Shusheiâs lasting legacy with in-game content available to all players.
To commemorate the legendary Fnatic player, Riot has introduced a new, free player title â
âShushei Foreverâ â which is now available to unlock. Additionally, players can earn the original
Fnatic Gragas skin, made famous by Shushei during Fnaticâs victorious Season 1 run, by playing three games as Gragas. This event will last from May 5th to June 2nd.
Shushei was widely regarded as one of the defining figures of early
League of Legends esports. He helped lead
Fnatic to a world title in 2011 and earned MVP honors in the process. His mastery of champions like Gragas not only brought competitive success but also shaped the emerging identity of professional
LoL.
Todayâs tribute offers the community a way to collectively remember one of its founding stars â a player who helped lay the groundwork for the global phenomenon League of Legends has become.
