They are finally here.
After months of anticipation, Riot Games unveiled on Tuesday the skins commemorating
s triumph at the 2025 World Championship. Since the inception of competitive
League of Legends and Fnatic’s victory at the inaugural World Championship, Riot Games has maintained the tradition of honoring world champions with in-game skins, typically tied to one of their signature champions.
As a reminder, Choi “
” Hyeon-jun
selected Ambessa after holding a poll on his stream, while Mun “
” Hyeon-jun opted for Xin Zhao.
For his ninth skin overall—and sixth as a world champion—midlane legend Lee “
” Sang-hyeok chose Galio.
Finals MVP Gumayusi receives two skins
While Ryu “
” Min-seok, like his toplaner, held a poll between Neeko and Seraphine,
the support ultimately chose not to follow the community vote, which favored Neeko, and instead selected Seraphine.
“Although Neeko won the poll, I ultimately chose Seraphine because Neeko changes form too often for the skin to feel particularly meaningful,” Keria explained last March, noting that players would not consistently see the same appearance in-game.
Finally, Lee “
” Min-hyung selected Yunara. As Finals MVP, the now-former T1 AD Carry—currently with
—was also entitled to a second skin in Prestige edition and opted for Miss Fortune. None of the champions selected by the players had previously received a World Championship skin.
Doran takes center stage
In a video, Riot Games showcased the visuals and abilities of the entire skin line. T1’s logo features prominently across all six skins. The three consecutive international trophies won by Oner, Gumayusi, and Keria appear during the recall animations of Xin Zhao, Yunara, and Seraphine. Xin Zhao skin recall also features a tiger, a reference to Oner custom tiger pendant, which he can be seen wearing at nearly all times. Six stars accompany Faker’s Galio recall refering to his six World titles, and the W animation features Faker’s famous “shhh” pose.
Doran’s Ambessa skin, in particular, has generated considerable discussion due to the number of references embedded within it. His face appears on the ground at the conclusion of Ambessa’s ultimate ability. Three Doran’s items materialize during the recall animation before a Krug emerges behind him, a nod to his
infamous death to a jungle camp during the LCK Road to MSI 2025.
Already available on the PBE, the skin line will be added to the live servers with Patch 26.14, scheduled for July 15. The skins will be available for purchase for a limited time. While Riot Games has yet to disclose pricing, World Championship skins have consistently been priced at 1,350 RP in recent years.
