Just days after
VALORANT Champions concluded in Shanghai, China continues to demonstrate the growth of its gaming scene. Chinese fans have been showing their passion for
VALORANT for some time, both through the community and at live events, and the game has now reached another major milestone. Riot Games announced on the Chinese social media platform
Weibo that
VALORANT had surpassed 100 million registered users on its Chinese servers.
To celebrate the occasion, the publisher is giving players in the region the chance to win several rewards. This milestone reflects the gameâs growing popularity within the Chinese community, which remains highly engaged despite
VCT China teams continuing to struggle on the international stage. The game has become so popular in the region that China is currently the only region where players can
access VALORANT on mobile.
Easy-to-earn rewards
Chinese teams failed to make an impact at VALORANT Champions. Across all four representatives, they did not win a single match and each finished at the bottom of their respective groups. Despite these results, the local crowd turned out in force, and the event appears to have been a success. Chinese fans around the world have also shown up at other tournaments, including Masters London, where many travelled to support EDward Gaming and Xi Lai Gaming.
To reward the community for its continued support, Riot Games is running an event from Tuesday through November 27. Over the course of a month, players on the Chinese servers will be able to earn in-game content, including a player card, a badge, a spray and a sticker, all designed around the celebration of 100 million registered users.
Claiming these rewards is straightforward: players simply need to log in to the PC version of VALORANT on the Chinese servers, or log in on three separate days on the mobile version to unlock the full set of rewards.
