Spacestation Gaming have announced the signing of Rexton "
solar" M, who will link up with Jack "
reveal" LeDuc, Zachary
"zach" Stone, and head coach André “
Xpere” Ruivinho for the
Rocket League Club Championship. The 17-year-old has never played in a RLCS Regional Open before but is one of the most exciting prospects in North America, having quickly gathered attention on the ranked ladder. The American up-and-comer takes the vacant slot on the starting roster left behind by João "
diaz" Henrique, who
was forced to depart the organization due to a difficult visa situation in North America. The Brazilian
now looks set to join Team Vitality in Europe alongside Gentle Mates duo Nassim "
nass" Bali and Oskar "
Oski" Gozdowski.
While solar has never competed in an RLCS regular season event, the young gun earned an impressive top-12 finish in the North American LCQ alongside established bubble players Andrew "Druee" Prill and Kevin "Kehvn" Nasseri. He also reached the Swiss Stage of the North American 1v1 and 2v2 Opens, earning a top 22 in both events. Solar was slated to compete alongside fellow top prospects Aj "monk" Holmes and Justin "Juice" Holzer under the name 9Lives, but that move fell through when Spacestation Gaming took an interest in him. Sheep Esports originally reported on the roster move on September 28, amid wholesale changes taking place in the North America.
Developing home grown talents
Spacestation Gaming has been an ever present organization in the scene having appeared in the past five RLCS World Championships. Since first entering the esport back in 2018, the organization has been focused on fostering young North American talent, recruiting players like Daniel "Daniel" Piecenski, Caden "Sypical" Pellegrin, and Tshaka "Arsenal" Lateef Taylor Jr in the past, who all joined an esports organization for the first time when signing for Spacestation Gaming. The recruitment of solar represents another wildcard pickup for the organization, who has big shoes to fill replacing one of the highest potential players to come out of Brazil.
During RLCS 2026, Spacestation Gaming grew into the season. Zach returned to the organization for Split 2 after a brief stint in retirement, replacing Nicholas "Chronic" Iwanski, and was able to propel the team to become one of the strongest squads in North America. By the end of the season, the team could challenge the best. After a top-eight finish at the Paris Major, Spacestation Gaming went on to enjoy two consecutive second-place finishes at the Esports World Cup and RLCS World Championship. Events that included wins over Shopify Rebellion, Karmine Corp, Gentle Mates, and Twisted Minds. However, they ultimately proved no match for Team Falcons, who were able to beat Spacestation Gaming in both grand finals without dropping a game.
