A new offensive option for MURASH
Loading...
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Kim âTenTenâ Tae-young is set to join MURASH GAMING, with the Korean player expected to replace Seigi âAskâ Yamamoto for the remainder of the VCL Japan season. Following a path that took him through ZETA DIVISION and Team Secret in the VCT Pacific, the move that sends him back to Tier 2 represents a small step backward.
The team seemed to need a fresh dynamic after a relatively disappointing first split. MURASH GAMING had, in fact, finished in 7thâ8th place in Split 1 of the VCL Japan. This change also ppears to be a clear attempt to add more explosiveness to the lineup. Ask has been part of MURASH since January 2025 and has recently played Controller and flex agents such as Viper, Astra, Tejo, and Fade, while TenTen is better known for his attacking profile and background as a Duelist.
A new identity
That contrast makes the move particularly interesting: MURASH would not simply be replacing one player with another, but could alter the teamâs balance and identity. MURASH already have several experienced and talented names on their roster, including Tenta âTENNNâ Asai, whose rĂ©sumĂ© includes a stint with ZETA DIVISION, appearances at Champions, and a third-place finish at Masters ReykjavĂk 2022.
TenTenâs arrival could provide the team with another aggressive win condition, greater pressure in opening duels, and a player who can bring international experience into the Japanese Challengers environment.
