Rodrigo âspikeziNâ Lombardi has reached a verbal agreement to remain with LEVIATĂN for two more years, according to information gathered by Sheep Esports. The agreement is only verbal at this point, and it has not been made official by the organization.
The 19-year-old Brazilian joined LEVIATĂN in November 2025 from 2Game Esports, a team that ended 2025 with only two wins in VCT Americas. Unlike Bruno âNeonâ RodrĂguez and Guilherme âblowzâ Oliveira, who were promoted from the academy roster, spikeziN arrived from outside the organization and became part of a lineup built around South American talent.
A season with a title and a missed Champions
LEVIATĂNâs 2026 was a rebuild around South American talent, and it started slowly. The team finished 5th-6th at Kickoff, but improved in Stage 1, when it reached the final after an unbeaten playoff run and lost 3-2 to G2 Esports.
That result sent LEVIATĂN to Masters London, where the team won the Swiss Stage 2-0, beating Global Esports and NRG. After a loss to Paper Rex in the upper bracket, LEVIATĂN went through the lower bracket, with a 2-0 win over Team Vitality and a 3-0 win over EDward Gaming. The team beat Paper Rex 3-2 in the Grand Final and won the first international trophy in the organizationâs history.
Stage 2 did not go the same way. LEVIATĂN entered the playoffs as a top seed, but lost 2-0 to 100 Thieves in the upper bracket and 2-1 to G2 in the lower bracket. The result left the team short on Championship Points, and LEVIATĂN missed Champions Shanghai despite being the Masters London champion.
Changes around the roster
The extension comes as the rest of the roster changes.
Sheep Esports reported that Eduardo â
Satoâ Nagahama is
set to join G2 Esports, replacing Jacob â
valynâ Batio, and that Francisco â
kiNggâ Aravena, LEVIATĂNâs long-time in-game leader, is also

babybayâ Francisty and the in-game leading duties.
LEVIATĂN was selected as one of the eight partner teams in VCT Americas for the 2027-2028 cycle, as
reported by
Sheep Esports. The new cycle opens with Kickoff in SĂŁo Paulo, from January 14 to February 7, with eight partner teams and four teams coming through the Open Qualifiers, and the top three advancing to Masters Seoul.
