Sources: Myrtus joins Movistar KOI Fénix

Mohamed “Myrtus” Rahli is set to join Movistar KOI Fénix in the SuperLiga, sources tell Sheep Esports on Wednesday. At 20 years old, the French support is leaving the French League of Legends circuit after more than four years and will head to KOI’s academy team in Spain. He arrives after a difficult year with BDS Academy in the LFL.

He will therefore replace Tomislav “Thomas” Nanjara, who played for KOI Fénix during the Summer Split. The team had a middling year in the SuperLiga, finishing in the middle of the table, and went through three different supports across the three splits. With Myrtus, the Spanish organization will be aiming to finally bring stability to the position.

Myrtus hasn’t had the easiest run these past few years. With BDS Academy, he hit bottom three times and even got relegated in the LFL 2026 Promotion Series against Esprit Shonen. In 2024 with Solary, the team and Myrtus finished double seventh, falling short of playoffs. The year before, he was competing in Division 2 with Atletec, where he actually found his best result: a Summer Finals appearance, eventually falling to Team du Sud.

Movistar KOI Fénix had a rough year overall. They finished sixth in Winter with Kamil "kamilius" Košťál, then dropped to eighth in Spring with Erik "Treatz" Wessén, before finding their best form in Summer under Thomas, ending the split in fourth place — still short of making the Final Four and qualifying for the EMEA Masters.

As previously reported by Sheep Esports, Spanish coach Jorge "Disgrace" López is set to remain at the head of the team, and toplaner Ivan "NightSlayer" Bilous will also stay with the roster for the upcoming SuperLiga season.
