Sources: Kryze set to re-sign with Solary

After a rollercoaster year, Solary have decided to retain only one player from their 2025 roster. Felix “Kryze” Hellström is set to remain with the team as their toplaner in the LFL, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. At 26 years old, he will compete in his fourth consecutive season in the league, the third within the club, after being one of Solary’s most consistent performers throughout this year.

This week, Kryze also had tryouts with Esprit Shōnen and BK ROG Esports, the remaining LFL teams without a toplaner in the LFL. On Saturday, he decided to join Solary.

With Kryze staying on board, Solary have now completed their roster, becoming the sixth LFL team to lock in all five players for the upcoming season. Despite wearing the same jersey, Kryze will find himself in a completely new environment. Solary recently renovated their facilities in Tours, and his four new teammates come from very different backgrounds. Joining him are Kang “Jool” Dong-su, coming from the TCL with a split spent in CBLOL; Lanzo “Zicssi” Ciajolo, the sole French player returning to Solary after a stint with their academy; and a botlane composed of Berat “Aetinoth” Tıknazoğlu, the reigning Spanish champion, and Kim “Piero” Jung-hun, the current French and EMEA Masters champion.

Kryze’s re-signing hardly comes as a surprise given his performance indicators across the year. Statistically, he stands among the top laners in the LFL. He led all toplaners in XP difference at 15 minutes (+314.6), ranked second in gold difference (+204) and CS difference (+6.5) at 15, and posted the second-highest kill participation rate at his position (62.2%).

By assembling such a lineup, Solary are making their ambitions clear: they are aiming for the title once again. Influential streamer and League of Legends content creator César “Wakz” Hugues was closely involved in offseason recruitment, alongside Uko and Blazzios, who recently joined as new team manager and player scouting, as well as Danny “Dan Dan” Le Comte who remains in charge as head coach for another season.

To date, Solary’s best LFL result since joining the league in 2019 has been a third-place finish, most recently achieved during the 2025 Flash In split. However, that result wasn’t enough to secure them a spot at the Winter EMEA Masters — a tournament they continue to chase for a first-ever qualification.

Before they can return to a traditional split format, the team will first have to navigate the LFL’s new transitional structure at the start of 2026. Following the departures of GameWard and Gentle Mates from League of Legends, and the temporary promotion of Karmine Corp Blue to the LEC for Winter, the French league will feature a mixed tournament of twenty teams: the seven remaining LFL squads, eight from LFL Division 2, three Game Changers rosters, and two influencer-led projects.
