According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Joblife plan to field the following five players for Project Blender, an offseason competition running from October 3 to December 20, with a LAN final scheduled to take place in Paris. The roster is expected to include several players with VCT EMEA experience, such as Dom "soulcas" Sulcas and Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas, as well as Ethan "Sevire" Starke, who has spent a considerable amount of time in Challengers France, and Tomáš "WanZeru" Peroutka, a young Czech player from Team Liquid Academy.
Emil "runneR" Trajkovski, the only remaining player from Joblife's 2026 roster, is also expected to compete in the tournament, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. As for the coaching staff, the French organization announced the arrival of Pavle "pakko" Kostić, former head coach of Gentle Mates during the 2026 VCT EMEA season, on October 7.
According to our information, players are allowed to compete in this tournament without a contract, meaning Project Blender is partly serving as a tryout for Joblife as they look to build their roster for next season. As things stand, the players are therefore still technically on the market for 2027. With Joblife’s competition kicking off in just six days, this means the situation could still evolve, and changes to the roster cannot be fully ruled out at this stage.
JL bypassed the first phase
Directly invited to Phase 2 of the competition, JL bypassed the first phase, which was fully open, and will join seven other teams in the second part of the tournament. Alongside teams such as Natus Vincere, Eternal Fire, Eintracht Frankfurt, and CGN Esports, the French club will be placed in one of two groups of four. The teams will compete in a single round-robin format, with best-of-three matches, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. Joblife will then need to win its semifinal to secure a place in Phase 3, the final stage of Project Blender.
For this competition, which will likely serve as a full-scale test for these players ahead of 2027, JL will field a highly competitive roster. Having competed at the highest level since 2020 with Team Liquid and Apeks, soulcas is by far the most experienced player in the lineup. However, he is coming off a year without competitive play, aside from an appearance with a mix team during the first phase of Project Blender. In contrast, former G2 Esports and Giants player hoody is coming off a particularly busy year, having competed in Challengers France and NORTH//EAST, as well as two EVC stages, the Monsters Reloaded qualifier, and Spike Series #5.
Less well-known at the EMEA level, sevire has competed in VCL France since 2023, with stints at WYLDE, Solary, Karmine Corp Blue Stars, and, most recently, Mandatory in 2026. With the latter organization, the English player reached the finals of both the French league and Challengers EMEA during Stage 1, although he was unable to secure either title. MDR also finished in the top three during Stage 2 in France and placed third to fourth in the EMEA LCQ, the last-chance tournament for qualification to the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins, where several Tier 2 teams had the opportunity to face Europe's Tier 1 lineups.
A stint in the Tier 1
runneR also experienced that tournament with Joblife. Having already competed at the highest level with Team Vitality in 2024, where he even played at Champions, and GIANTX in 2025, the Macedonian Duelist returned to that level with JL this season. Joining ahead of the 2026 season, he won two Challengers France splits and helped the club qualify for the aforementioned Play-In. At Riot Games' arena in Berlin, Joblife managed to defeat several VCT EMEA teams, including Natus Vincere, PCIFIC Esports, and Fnatic. However, the team fell short against Fire Flux Esports in the decisive series for a place in the playoffs.
The least familiar name in the lineup is WanZeru, another Duelist, who is coming off a full season with Team Liquid Academy in VCL North East. The 19-year-old Czech player began his career with Enterprise Esports and also played for B8 Esports and Formulation Gaming before joining TLA in late 2025, initially for Project Blender. The team progressed through several rounds of the competition and eventually finished fourth, behind Team Vitality and GIANTX, but ahead of established names such as Karmine Corp, ULF Esports, FUT Esports, and Natus Vincere. During the 2026 season, the team reached two finals in its league but failed to win either, ultimately qualifying for the Challengers EMEA stages.
Joblife’s potential roster for Project Blender:
- Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas
- Ethan "Sevire" Starke
- Emil "runneR" Trajkovski
- Tomáš "WanZeru" Peroutka
- Dom "soulcas" Sulcas
