Sources: Fnatic set to not continue with ENGH ahead of 2027 VCT season

Fnatic are set to not continue with Head Coach Andrey “ENGH” Sholokhov, Sheep Esports has learned. The decision comes from the organization, which has opted to make a change in its coaching staff ahead of the 2027 VCT seasons.

The move comes after ENGH joined Fnatic for VCT EMEA Stage 2, following nearly three years with Karmine Corp. The Russian coach had been with the French organization since December 2023 before making the move to Fnatic.

ENGH's departure comes as Fnatic have already started making changes to their lineup ahead of the 2027 season. The organization recently announced that some of its players were looking for new opportunities, while Jake “Boaster” Howlett also addressed the situation publicly on social media.

The team also went through several changes during the 2026 season. Alongside ENGH's arrival, Fnatic brought in Kirill “Cloud” Nehozhin, while Sylvain “Veqaj” Pattyn health issues added another complication to the team's campaign.

The move also comes after a disappointing 2026 campaign for Fnatic, who failed to qualify for VALORANT Champions this year. The team was eliminated by Joblife in the lower bracket of the VCT EMEA Play-Ins, finishing the season with just 8 Championship Points in the standings.

Former Sentinels Head Coach, Adam “kaplan” Kaplan, is being considered by Fnatic, as first reported by AkamaruVal and AriVLRNT on X.
