Sources: FaZe Clan set to enter the esport for a second time with Lostt, Bemmz and crn

According to Sources, FaZe Esports is set to re-enter Rocket League Esports having reached a verbal agreement with Cauã "crn" Cerione, Gabriel "Lostt." Buzon, and Bernardo "Bemmz" Marta. The organization will be a part of the RLCS Club Championship partner program, where they have been invited to form a roster by Epic Games, sources told Sheep Esports. The lineup combines members of the FURIA, BS+COMPETITION, and the Bigodes rosters from RLCS 2026. Lostt, who spent three years competing with FURIA, is expected to depart the organization ahead of the Club Championship and will lead this new FaZe Clan squad. The 21-year-old links up with his former teammate Bemmz, who competed together under The Club during RLCS 2022-23. Lostt’s former coach from that roster, Nicolas "Michi" Michikoviski, will join the new project as head coach having also worked with crn last season.

As a result of the move, FaZe Esports looks set to become the 19th organization invited to the RLCS Club Championship and will field a South American squad alongside FURIA. The organization had been assessing the market for some time, having last competed in the esport during RLCS 2022-23. FaZe Clan is one of a number of organizations joining the esport ahead of the new season, which includes the likes of AG.AL, Team Heretics, and fellow returnees Wolves Esports.

FaZe Clan is not the organization it once was when it last competed in the esport. The FaZe Esports brand is an entirely different operation to its namesake FaZe Clan, which was named FaZe Media and split off from the esports division two years ago. Owned by GameSquare and managed by former FaZe Clan member Kaysan “Kaysan” Ghasseminejad, the organization still has teams in multiple esports including Counter Strike, Rainbow Six Siege and Call of Duty. It does not have the pulling power it once had in the industry, but remains a well recognized high-profile brand.

The organization joined Rocket League Esports back in 2021 at the height of the COVID-era boom that saw the expansion of the scene and multiple organizations like Team Liquid, Optic Gaming, and XSET entering for the first time. Jason "Firstkiller" Corral, who joined the FaZe Clan that same year, became the face of the organization throughout its time in the scene. During his two years with FaZe, the organization qualified for seven RLCS LANs, two World Championships and peaked with a second-place finish at the 2022-23 Winter Major. FaZe Clan would depart the esport following the conclusion of Gamers8 2023 amid acquisition talks with a new company. Its last roster featured Firstkiller alongside Caden "Sypical" Pellegrin, in his last role on a team before silently retiring from the scene, and Nick "mist" Costello.

Following a tweet by Austin "AlphaKep" Kepner on FaZe Esports’ potential entry into the esport, Kaysan “Kaysan” Ghasseminejad hinted at the organization’s return. In a follow up tweet, he mentioned that the organization was “looking at everything, I rather build a team from ground up vs buying some insane roster”. According to sources, the organization sought to build a team in South America, after being invited to the RLCS partnership program. FaZe Esports is familiar with the region already having hosted a Brazilian squad in Rainbow Six Siege since 2018, even winning the most recent Six Invitational and then the Esports World Cup.

Diaz, who became a free agent after departing Spacestation Gaming, was in talks to sign with the organization, but opted to prioritize a move to Europe and is expected to join Team Vitality. FaZe Clan also explored an opportunity in North America, enquiring about the Northwood University duo João "Motta" Motta and Arthur "DRUFINHO" Miguel, two Brazilian professionals that moved to the region to compete in collegiate. However, the duo chose to link-up with Dutch veteran Joris "Joreuz" Robben instead and are now set to sign with M80. As a result, the organization assessed the market in the South American scene, picking up Lostt when it became clear his departure from FURIA was certain. The Brazilian veteran is set to be joined by Bemmz, who appeared at the 2026 World Championship with Bigodes, and crn, who competed with BS+COMPETITION last season. The trio will be one of the best rosters in the region and will feature at the London Kick-Off Weekend in December.
