Finlay "rise." Ferguson links up with Joseph "Joyo" Young and David "Rezears" Wünsch in preparation for the Esports World Cup Last Chance Qualifier in Paris. Andrea "Radosin" Radovanović makes way for the experienced Englishman following the resulting fallout from the European LCQ after Kaydop Corp’s exit in the semifinals at the hands of Volare. Joyo and rise reunite on a professional team for the first time since the Rocket League 2022-23 Fall Split Major, after rise chose to depart Moist Esports in the winter transfer period.
This move comes following a series of claims Rezears made in German on his stream over the poor treatment he received from his teammate Radosin, which gained a lot of traction on reddit following a translation by the user u/thafreshone. While the translation suggested the team would still play in the EWC LCQ together after a mental reset, things have now changed. The new team will compete under the moniker ‘The LANimals’ and go into the tournament as one of the dark horses to the reach the EWC Main Event but will face stiff international competition.
