Polymarket has opened its markets for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship, offering $500,000 in liquidity rewards, a $10,000 prize pool for its Pick’ems competition, and an all-expenses-paid trip to the Grand Final in New York City. With this project, Polymarket is bringing new ways for fans to engage with the League of Legends Worlds 2026.
Fans can access the Worlds 2026 markets on Polymarket to trade on individual series and additional outcomes, known as props, throughout the competition. The platform allows users to buy and sell positions linked to possible outcomes, with market prices fluctuating as participants trade and react to new information. The advertised liquidity rewards are designed to support trading activity on the platform.
Polymarket is also offering a separate Pick’ems competition, allowing fans to predict the outcome of the tournament and compete for a share of the $10,000 prize pool. Participants can submit their predictions through the dedicated Polymarket Esports Pick’ems website. The platform has also announced an all-expenses-paid trip to the Worlds Grand Final, scheduled for November 14 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Worlds 2026 brings together 19 teams in the United States
The 2026 League of Legends World Championship runs from October 15 to November 14, bringing together 19 teams from six competitive regions. Returning to North America for the first time since 2022, the tournament will visit Los Angeles, Allen, Texas, and Brooklyn, New York, as teams compete for the Summoner’s Cup.
T1 enter the competition as the defending champion after winning the 2023, 2024, and 2025 editions. The South Korean organization will aim to secure a fourth consecutive World Championship title, while the other qualified teams look to challenge its dominance.
The tournament is divided into three stages: Play-Ins, Swiss and Knockouts. The Play-In Stage takes place from October 15 to 18 at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, with four teams competing in a double-elimination bracket. All matches are best-of-five series, and only one team will advance to the Swiss Stage.
The 16-team Swiss Stage will run from October 23 to 31 at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen. Teams must secure three wins to qualify for the Knockout Stage, while three losses result in elimination. The eight remaining teams will then compete in a single-elimination bracket, with the quarterfinals scheduled for November 3 to 6 and the semifinals for November 7 and 8.
The tournament will conclude with the Grand Final at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on November 14, where the two remaining teams will compete for the world title.
Polymarket’s Worlds 2026 offering covers both match-by-match trading and tournament predictions. Fans can access the dedicated markets throughout the competition, while the Pick’ems contest gives participants the opportunity to compete for a share of the $10,000 prize pool.
